Sriracha Caramel Lion's Mane Mushrooms

Sriracha Caramel Lion's Mane Mushrooms

Ingredients

2 tbsp neutral oil for frying
Sriracha Caramel
1 tsp gochugaru (Korean chilli flakes)
1 tbsp sesame seeds (toasted if possible)
2 spring onions, finely sliced

Recipe

Remove the root of the Lion's Mane mushrooms.
Tear the mushrooms into bite-sized pieces.
Heat the neutral oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
Add the torn mushrooms to the pan in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
Fry for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy. Turn them gently to ensure even cooking. Once golden, remove from the pan and set aside.
Pour Sriracha Caramel on the bottom of a large plate and add the mushrooms on top.
Sprinkle the coated mushrooms with gochugrau, sesame seeds and sliced spring onions for. afresh and vibrant finish.
Serve immediately as a snack, appetizer or side dish.
